During this 6-hour workshop (over 4 weekly Zoom Meetings) you will learn and practice new ideas, practical skills, and techniques to communicate with people who are living with dementia. Our techniques are based on Naomi Feil’s Validation method.

About the event

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop empathy with others to be able to connect at a deeper level.
  • Demonstrate appropriate eye contact, personal approach, voice tone.
  • Demonstrate good use of asking open questions to encourage communication
  • Learn to recognize the reasons behind the behaviors of people living with dementia

Those wanting certification of completing the workshop, will need to submit a case study together with a video.
